“I had just returned from a mission trip to Uganda with a very evangelical group. They were so good at spontaneous prayer and knew their scripture very well. I felt like an outsider. This retreat reinforced the fact that we are worshipping the same God and, as Catholics, we know Jesus too. It made me feel grateful to be a Catholic and so grateful to meet a group of women who shared my faith.”
